Fighting extreme global poverty and disease


The tragic truth is that more than 26,000 children under the age of 5 die every day due to preventable poverty, disease, and hunger.

To help secure a better future for the world’s poorest children, we advocate for resources to address special challenges health like the AIDS pandemic and malaria, and hunger and malnutrition.

We also advocate for increased humanitarian assistance from the U.S. government to contribute to fight against extreme global poverty and effective measures that will help achieve the Millennium Development Goals.
